Hi! I’m Mike Maihack. A graphic novelist who spends most of his day doing just that: Drawing comics!
You may know me from my CLEOPATRA IN SPACE series published by Scholastic (and later adapted by DreamWorks into an animated show), my more recent SPIDER-MAN: MIGHTY MARVEL TEAM-UP adventures from Abrams Books, or the immense amount of Batgirl & Supergirl fan art and comics I often post online. My newest book, THE MOONLIT SPIRAL, will be out from Candlewick Press in 10/6/26!
I draw quite a lot of other things too, most of which I post to my Patreon and occasionally social media. If you want to get a better look at me or high five or something, you can find me in the buttery realm of Land O Lakes, Florida hanging out with my wife, two boys and ever-growing collection of cats. Otherwise, I sometimes make an appearance at various schools and conventions throughout the year.
