If you’re planning on being at MegaCon this weekend, make sure to stop by my table!
Just a quick sketch today. Drawing these is starting to make me look forward to meetings!
With all the heavy action taking place in the comic right now, I thought it’d be nice to depict Cleo a little more relaxed; sans space outfit and awesome guns.
If I’m ever in a meeting I’m usually doodling. And today I was in a meeting. So here are some Cleo sketches for this Friday afternoon!
I figure I’ll probably post Cleo related sketches here every so often- hence the numbering after the subject title.
I love those Comic News Insider guys. First they listed Cow & Buffalo as one of their favorite comics of 2009, THEN they named me this year’s artist to watch and NOW they just listed Cleo as one of their Top 3 on this week’s Episode 241! Of course even if they hadn’t made me blush a thousand times, I’d still say you should check out their show. Jimmy and Joe are two of the nicest guys in the industry. We comics people are blessed to have them.
Listen to Ep 241 HERE (Cleo is mentioned about 41 min in).
This is it! Today marks the ongoing weekly exploits of Cleopatra in Spaaaaaaaace! I’m picking up right after the eight page preview left off and plan on updating a new action filled page each and every Monday morning. And you can count on these next few weeks containing plenty of action…
Along the way I’d love to hear from all of you, so don’t be shy about commenting, emailing, or even following me on the twitter. But most importantly, if you like this comic, spread the word! The more I know people are enjoying Cleo, the more fun It’s going to be telling her adventures.
Tell your friends! Cleopatra in Spaaace will start updating with new pages in only two short weeks- starting Monday, January 25th. From there, the plan is to update weekly until the first chapter has run its course. There’s quite a few of you out there that have been so patient awaiting Cleo’s return though, so I don’t want to leave you today with nothing. So here’s a sneak peek of the first few panels from page nine:
