Emerald City Comicon is this weekend at Seattle’s Washington State Convention Center. I’ll be there Saturday and Sunday for a couple of panels and bunch of signings. Copies of CiS: Target Practice will be available as well as advanced galleys of The Thief and the Sword! See my full schedule below.

If you have been anywhere near comics over the past five years, you may have noticed that non-fiction/historical-fiction titles have exploded onto the scene. A panel of educators and industry professionals will discuss this non-fiction boom, and how educators have been using comics to interface and bridge real world history and current events. Moderated by: Meryl Jaffee

I haven’t been back to ECCC in a few years so I’m really looking to see how much the show has grown. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to walk around and see a few friends I don’t normally see over here on the east coast too. Should be a good time. Maybe I’ll see some of you there!
